End-to-end product design for the StaffAny leaves workflow
The brief
StaffAny is a scheduling and time-tracking product for shift-based businesses. The leaves module was a major gap — managers were handling time-off requests over WhatsApp, Excel, and email, leading to double-booked shifts and missed approvals.
I designed the end-to-end leaves experience: request, approval, balance tracking, and integration with the existing schedule — so a leave approved in one place automatically blocks the right cells everywhere else.
- Managers get a single inbox for leave approvals, with the schedule context inline
- Staff get a simple request flow with real-time balance visibility
- Every approved leave writes through to the live roster — no double-entry
